MTN launched Rubikomm Social Networking Suite in Yemen

For the
first time in Yemen, Facebook subscribers can link their
Facebook profiles to their MTN number. Rubikomm Social
Networking Suite enables subscribers to update their
Facebook status, add new friends, comment and like others
comments and many other Facebook activities using the SMS
service without the need to be connected via internet. All
different notifications on subscribers’ Facebook profiles
are sent as well to subscribers’ handsets over SMS.

After the success of Rubikomm Social Networking Suite in Iraq, ZAIN decided to launch the service to enable their subscribers to connect with their social networks (like Facebook) over SMS service.Rubikomm Social Networking Suite enables subscribers to update their Facebook status, add new friends, comment and like others comments and many other Facebook activities using the SMS service without the need to be connected via internet. Rubikomm Social Networking Suite enables mobile operators to link their subscribers' MSISDNs to the different social networks like Facebook and Twitter. Mobile subscribers are able to update their status, comment back on friends' comments, add new friends and other activities using SMS service and without the need of internet connectivity.
In addition, Rubikomm Social Networking Suite sends the different notifications in the social networks to service subscribers through SMS to enable subscribers to be connected to their social networks any where any time.
