Rating and Charging Platform:
The different billing methods (postpaid and prepaid) as well as
the emergence of advanced services have increased the complexity
of charging for the operators. Therefore, the legacy
architecture, based on two separated systems (CDR based billing
system for postpaid subscribers and IN system based for the
prepaid customers) is no longer adequate.
